Please i was wondering if somebody may be able to help me out of the kindness of there heart.
I have a 4 yo old Staffyx kelpie who is like my first born child, we adopted her from the RSPCA 2 years ago and she has been the best move i ever made.
I have taken her everywhere really, she always comes out for coffees etc when i meet friends, she comes camping and hiking with me.
She has always been an indoor dog, she has never been allowed to run around inside or anything but she has a basket in the corner of the lounge and thats where she sleeps at night.
Recently we moved home into a rental where she could not come inside anymore and she did not like that really but dealt with it as we were still able to spend lots of time with her as i was staying at home looking after our newborn daughter.
More recently my partner and i split up and i have had to return to work and she has been left alone alot during the day plus not getting as much exercise as she is used to.
She started escaping from the yard as she has been upset and lonely and seeking company..she normaly just runs across road to the park and plays with kids there untill somebody looks at her collar and gets my number and calls me.
She just keeps doing it though and i was so worried she going to get hit by a car or something that i asked my sister to look after her, as she would be able to sleep inside there and has an 8 yo to play with which i thought would make her more content and less eager to escape when she at work...
But is has not, she is jumping the fence there and has got so freaked out she cut her foot up.
I am having to move into a share house due to my partner leaving and not being able to afford rent on my own and i simply have no way of taking her with me.
In about 6 months i am moving into the country and it had always been the plan for my family and i PLUS doggie to live coiuntry life.
I still wish to bring Sasha but at the moment i simply have no way to provide a house for her, i have asked everyone i know if they could but to no avail.
She needs a home with other dogs or somebody who is home alot, she does not necesarily need to be kept inside but it would be desirable especialy when cold.
I would provide her with all her food costs and if she need vet shall pay the bill of course. She has her own portable fabric kennel for inside and outside use, she also has a cushioned plastic tub for outside use.
She is very well trained will recall on command, sit, lay down, walk heel even off lead.
I think she is just been suffering departure anxiety due to her circumstances changing so much over last year...moving house twice, new baby in house, one of her humans then leaving completely
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
Is there anybody who would look after my girl for me for about 6months or even a shorter period till i could find somewhere else.
Im out of options and desperate as she is my family but unfortunately keeping a roof over my own head is a necessity also.
