Vintage Sterling Silver, Marcasite with central Pearl Pendant in DARLINGTON, South Australia for sale

Absolutely beautiful vintage sterling silver and marcasite pendant. Perhaps 1940-50s. The pendant measures 4cm across and is 2cm deep. It is in excellent condition and is round and domed shape with a central pearl. The pearl measures 1.2cm across. It is gritty to he tooth. The pendant is adorned with marasite and delicate shapes of cirles and damond shapes. The look is equallly decorated with marcasite. Surrounding the pendant is a border of silver dots finished with a final border of very fine lines. Both the pendant and the marcasite loop are hallmarked 925 representing sterling silver. The pendant weighs 17g and looks stunning against a plain top/dress. There is no chain with this item. A very lovely and wearable item.
